KNOWLEDGE
The first time I tried to quit drinking, I had no understanding of why I was drinking and why I was feeling the way I was feeling. I believe that understanding the changes that our brains go through and how an addiction is developed is crucial to recovery
PHYSICAL HEALTH
Our wellbeing and how we feel about ourselves is heavily interlinked.
Even if we're sober, if we eat like crap, suffer from pain, don't get enough sleep.
Excercise also helps regulate our brain and release of hormones.
